BharatMatrimony announces LinkedIn API integration to enhance overall profile credibility
Implications:
- Fooling prospective in-laws about past achievements will become tougher (not impossible)
- Linked In Recommendations will say “I highly recommend xxx for marriage with a beautiful girl with a dowry of xxx millions” and so on
- Past flames / girl friends / wives (& the corresponding things for the other gender) can recommend (or trash)
- Headlines will start reading “Single but ready to mingle” / “MBA” (Married but Available) etc
- There is a potential of a curious prospective in-law going through all your connections and finding a better match for his daughter! Oops!
- “Interested In” section of the profile will have more items to list (like Tamil, Iyer, Vadama, non-Koundinya Gothram etc)
Next Step:: LinkedIn should integrate with Bharat Matrimony and start offering suggestions for marriage in their home page!
